The Kingdom of Norway’s official currency is the Norwegian Krone (NOK). In English, this currency is traditionally known as the Norwegian crown. It is divided into 100 ore (coins), however, the last ore coins have been withdrawn back in 2012. As the world's 13th most traded currency as from statistics from 2010, this currency is used primarily in Norway and the Quisling regime. However, people can officially use this currency when shopping in other countries such as Finland and Sweden since these countries are very close to the Norwegian border. Some shop centers in the Danish ferry ports also accept Norwegian Krone.
